It’s Monday, and it’s time for me to scour the galaxy in search for an unknown Android objects floating around the void.
Why?
Because these objects contain a non-artificial fluid called the inspiration fuel which are used to fuel our life forms. Without these fuels to consume, we are but a hallow shell of walking objects, no differences to the space garbage floating in the void.
Android Collector’s Container
Here comes the fifth attempt to acquire the best unit of inspiration fuel. Our android collector has grabbed quite a few awesome Android objects, most of them we collected are fully packed with an inspiration fuel, some are even leaking as we speak. Let see the result:
My Home Screen
Another week of experiments. I have decided to increase the home screen space by reducing the dpi drawn on the home screens from 160 to 140, which results in a smaller fonts, interface etc. Why am I doing this? If you see my home screen below, I now have 5 rows for widgets.
HTC Hero have a 3.2’ HVGA screen which won’t be possible to have 5 rows widgets (thanks to Fede, for adding this function on to Launcher Pro). So I decided to try and hack the build.prop file in the root folder, and decrease the dpi.
Here’s the result, which I am very happy of.
***Warning though, some apps might not work correctly on these screens, Google Apps and/or other Sense UI apps seems to work okay. Only the third party apps I suppose may have a problem.
