Another regular post for our blog. The purpose of this post is to share the music that I think is the best for work environment. 

My tastes

First of, let me introduce you to my music tastes. I can listen to almost any music from Trance like Daft Punk to classical music like Edith Piaf. I love music. You could say that my life is driven by music.

I almost have to listen to music every day, when working, on my way home or to the office, when i’m asleep (yeah, weird right? But I like having music as a background when I’m sleeping)

Arcade Fire rules!

One of my favorite song for today is from the Arcade Fire new album, The Suburbs and it is called  Sprawl II (Mountains Beyond Mountains).

When I first listen to this song, I was thinking, why the hell does the rhythm goes like that whereas the vocal’s key goes the other way round, it’s too contrast and conflicting, but then I give it time to sink into my cerebrum and it suddenly hit me like a lightning. I was starting to like the song more and more.

The meaning is so deep especially this part where she sings:

They heard me singing and they told me to stop, Quit these pretentious things and just punch the clock.

On their other albums, I heard people complains about her not singing right, and saying that she is not a good singer. With such a straight-on hook like this, It really proof those people wrong.
